Biography

Brian joined JLB+P in 2004 after spending 30 years in leadership and management positions in St. Louis, Chicago and New York agencies including DDB; Wells, Rich, Greene; Bayer Bess Vanderwarker; and Hampel Stefanides. During the course of his agency career his client assignments included Anheuser-Busch, McDonald’s, Jack Daniels, General Mills, Quaker Oats, NEC, Neuberger Berman, ITT Hartford, among others.

As General Manager of JLB+P/New York, Brian has overseen assignments in each of the firm’s 3 practice areas—agency search, agency compensation, and agency relationship management. Global and U.S.-based clients include: GM, TD Ameritrade, Darden, GSK, Nissan, McCormick, Mercedes-Benz, Four Seasons Resorts and Hotels, Del Monte, People’s United Bank, Oppenheimer Fund, Hershey’s, McDonald’s and Sam’s Club.

Brian has authored ANA best practice Insights Briefs on Deciding When To Conduct and Agency Search, Organizing for an Agency Search and Selecting A New Agency.

In addition, Brian has served as a board member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and the NARB. Brian attended the University of Missouri, receiving a Bachelor of Journalism and MA in Advertising.
