Brian Brooker is a nationally recognized creative leader and expert in the advertising industry. His award-winning work as writer and creative director has helped build tremendous brands like Rolling Stone, PGA Tour, Southwest Airlines, Sonic Drive In, McDonald’s and Hostess snacks.
He flexes both sides of his brain, not only delivering stellar creative but serving as CEO of Barkley in Kansas City, Missouri for seven years. He’s written articles for AdAge, Adweek and CA, served on the AAAA board, spoken at their events and developed a Creativity Symposium in which he attracted a roster of prominent thinkers from across the country.
Brian is currently at Garmin, where he serves as Global VP Creative for their in-house agency of 90+ people. He says, “for me, being client side is a better dynamic. I like being closer to the business, being part of the team.”
